I am opposed to the City of…

I am opposed to the City of Ontario/Ontario Place proposal for the interim combined sewer that would allow for raw sewage to be dumped into Lake Ontario which is in direct opposition to international agreements to protect water quality and the habitat of local wildlife as well as put human health at risk.
As well this is an area used by swimmers, kayakers, and other water sports.
There have been no consultations with the general public with this initiative and it clearly only benefits the private sector. At a time when our ecosystem has been threatened in a multitude of ways allowing this proposal to go through would threaten the fragile stability of our ecosystems. I strongly encourage that this proposal be denied.
