Please ensure that no untreated effluence is permitted to flow through or under Ontario Place to be connected to another storm water pipe exiting freely into Lake Ontario. No storm water should spill into Lake Ontario without first being treated. Otherwise, the e coli count will remain too high for swimming in the western beaches areas. Also, untreated effluence is a health hazard for both humans and aquatic wildlife. We ought to be careful stewards of our environment, for present and future generations.
