$ 2.3 Billion of taxpayer money. What an insane proposal. Toronto does not need this! Ontario does not need this! We can do better, smarter, cheaper.

In a time of financial hardship for many, Doug Ford's wasteful government went ahead without transparency (as he did with the Green Belt) and made a secret deal with a foreign company that has no ties to, and no responsibility to Ontarians.

There has been NO attempt to honour the land, (the flora and fauna ecosystem on Ontario Place was destroyed virtually overnight), or to protect the water, (sewage problems will rise and pollute the lakefront because of the proposed sewage outflow plan).

This project will fail. There will just be more glass and steel and hype on the waterfront - with an INSANE price tag that will balloon over time (like all the new projects in Toronto). Eventually it will become a casino, as per Doug Ford's original plan. No accountability. Criminal behaviour in my opinion. The politicians of Toronto and Ontario should be doing better than this. For god's sake, develop a brain, grow a spine.

Complete a proper environmental assessment, BEFORE there is any more construction. Protect the water.

Bottom line - Cancel this horrific generational catastrophe now.
