Given that we are uncertain about how the growing threats of climate change and urbanization will affect our aquifiers, one year is not sufficient to ensure adequate action is taken to protect these important natural resources. Furthermore, it is important that we take actions to protect and conserve water for families today and for future generations. The Ontario Government has the opportunity to be a leader and steward into a more healthful and resilient future for all its inhabitants, or it can engage in actions with lasting negative impacts. Which legacy do we want to leave behind?
