This is about the proposal for an interim combined sewer to support development at 955 Lake Shore Boulevard (Ontario Place). The City of Toronto has spent decades separating combined sewers across the city to prevent discharge of raw sewage into the lake.
People swim in the lake there.
There are international agreements and to protect water quality for humans and animal habitat health, including that of the fishes.
There has been no public consultation nor independent environmental assessments of this.
This benefits a foreign company only. I see no reason to allow it. Please deny this permit.
