Ontario Place began as a glorious expression of what it is to be a proud Ontarian. "And this is our place, Ontario Place, a once in a lifetime, never before place'". Reflecting our history, culture and excitement for the future , Ontario Place was a place for all to be proud of. A lack of the initial enthusiasm and imagination has led to the decline of this magical spot.
Denuding the West Island in favour of private profit has been a final slap in the face to all. The short sighted diversion of sewage into the inner spaces will further segregate the wider population who use the beaches and water for recreation from the special guests of the Spa beaches. Everyone is important. This is our place!
