The environmental devastation that is happening at Ontario Place is a tragedy for local residents and wildlife.
We are already being impacted by the threat of coyote attacks because the nature and their homes have been razed for a spa that the Ontario people did not want. The AG report has highlighted the questionable decision making regarding this project.
To suggest rerouting the sewage and basically destroying another Toronto beach, further destroying quality of life and risk to people’s health for a private project is unethical and unconscionable.
The taxpayers and residents do not want this. The current government has proven itself to be untrustworthy and bent on destroying quality of life for residents in favour of private industry. The environmental impact of this proposal is further proof to that fact.
