I am disgusted and disappointed that our Ontario Provincial Government would consider allowing this proposal to proceed. I am one of hundreds and likely thousands of water enthousiasts who paddle in direct contact with the water, along the Toronto Shorelines, in the Toronto harbour and around Toronto Island in kayaks, canoes, paddle boards etc. Swim Drink Fish has worked for a couple of decades to identify points of pollution and advocate for water quality improvements in Ontario. Tax-payers have paid millions for the improved sewer and storm drain capacité in Toronto to redirect dirty water to treatment centres. Why would we create alternate standards for different business on the same body of water ??? Mind-boggling and infuriating.
