Reading the lists of threatened species brings home the very reminders of the mess we are making of this province as well as this planet. Is the article about the danger to the bats due only to the financial benefit they provide or is the humane factor included? There is no doubt that everything possible needs to be done to prevent or at least delay the inevitable but those main reasons that are allowed to continue to harm us and even kill us are continued. So what is the connection between us and those on the AT RISK or ENDANGERED LISTS? -NOTHING-!
