I am commenting to register my opposition to an interim combined sewer to accelerate the development of the Therme Spa at Ontario Place. The city has been doing so much work to prevent raw sewage from flowing into Lake Ontario, to protect water quality and wildlife habitat. Like many other residents, my family uses the beaches near the West Channel in the summer. The combined sewer benefits a private business, while creating risk for residents and the natural ecosystem. It should be stopped, because it is not in the public interest.
