At significant effort and expense Toronto is completing the Western Beaches Storage Tunnel in an effort to undo the environmental damage caused when combined sewers overflow into the lake. Yet now you want to release a combined sewer in a channel mere steps from Lakeshore Boulevard and the Martin Goodman Trail, perhaps the most heavily used shared-use trail in the city. This is the epitome of insanity, as it will not only damage the environment but also impact tourism and all trail users. Please do not approve this request.
