I am commenting on the proposal for an interim combined sewer to support development at Ontario Place. Having been inspired by the film Your Tomorrow, and being a keen swimmer twice weekly at a city pool, I vowed to take advantage of some of Toronto's beaches this coming summer, and take the plunge in Lake Ontario - as long as the water quality is OK on the day. But now hearing about this outrageous proposal, I'm sadly back-tracking on this idea. I have absolutely no desire to front crawl into poo-laden water or do the breast stroke in diluted pee!

That idea is completely repugnant but what makes me sicker than gastroenteritis-induced diarrhea is knowing how the provincial government is weaselling out of an environmental assessment in its attempt to push through the spa boondoggle. It's filthy, disgusting and it stinks. And I mean the government, not just the sewage.
