Natural Resource Solutions Inc. (NRSI) is an Indigenous-owned environmental consulting firm specializing in ecological monitoring in a variety of applications, including private sector development, government contracts, academic research, conservation and restoration planning and implementation, etc.
Staff of NRSI have considerable experience in bat ecology and research, as well as assessing the effects of operational wind turbines on bats through the operational monitoring of more than 50 wind energy projects in Ontario.
Through this experience, NRSI has prepared a detailed technical submission (enclosed) for consideration of MECP as it relates to the proposed conditional exemption for operating wind turbines and migratory bats.
