I support this new regulation to the environmental protection act, WPD should be held responsible to
deconstruct the project and made to return the lands to preconstruction form. I am relieved that this project is not coming to fruition and that this government had the courage go shut it down. Climate change alarmists, private and corporate greed mongers would have the community and public at large believe this project had to do with the "saving of the environment" but WPD will never be able repair the damage done to the environment creek beds, forest, pasture and farmland of South Marysburgh. This wind farm was not environmentally friendly, it was not well planned, and the corporation took full advantage of unsuspecting landowners with their "leave a legacy propaganda"....It's shameful how greed turned this rural community inside out, trying to strip our municipal government of any say when they declared PEC an unwilling host. Bravo, good did prevail democracy did work...and last time I checked this is still Canada...
