Hello,
This piece of legislation is deeply distressing. It appears to allow the government nearly complete authority to bypass vital regulatory processes that protect out province's heritage, and the heritage of Ontario's First Nations, in almost all development contexts. In fact, it only serves only to benefit already incredibly wealthy and powerful development corporations. This legislation will be met with severe opposition from First Nations groups, which will likely cause further problems at the local level (protests and civil disobedience that will further stress our already stressed municipal and provincial police forces).
I beg you to reconsider this ill-conceived legislation.
