I support extending the moratorium on granting new or or expanding existing permits for bottled water in Ontario..

I would like to see the government go further and put in place a permanent moratorium on issuing any permits for bottled water out of the ground in Ontario, except for reasons of public health and safety. It's not sensible to sell our future water sources to companies, especially in this time of climate change and all the unpredictabilities that involves. For example, we've had drought here in the summers and population growth continues to put more pressure on water resources.
