I am deeply disturbed that the government is cancelling a signed contract and actually removing turbines that have already been safely installed, purely out of what seems to be spite.
Renewable energy has brought clean air and jobs to Ontario. I don't miss smog days. I find this act even more outrageous than the previous government's cancellation of the GTA gas plant - this project is built! It is ready to deliver power to Ontario.
Policy decisions need to based on sound science and decision making processes, not payback. Do not cancel this project.
