Regulations to protect the environment and Indigenous land are there for a reason. When planning projects in sensitive land, the government and proponents need to do their due diligence to ensure undue harm is not done. I understand the need to "boost" the economy but this bill sets a very dangerous precedent when our province is already facing a climate crisis, highlighting the need to stronger, not weaker environmental stewardship.
