I am supportive of regulations that would permit as-of-right variations to discrete development standards within 10%. Specifically:

Lot Coverage - up to 10% is appropriate

Height - up to 10% is appropriate, except where it would exceed aviation height limits

Setbacks - deviations may be appropriate except for setbacks less than 0.3m or 0.5m which would protect for technical concerns related to engineering, drainage and construction considerations that need to be reviewed by technical staff.

Stepbacks - up to 10% is appropriate

Separation Distances - up to 10% is appropriate, subject to land use combability guidelines considerations and Ontario Building Code requirements.

Lot depth, lot frontage, and lot area - up to 10% is appropriate

Variations should only be permitted for standards listed in the regulation. It should not extend to other standards like parking stall size, loading space size, drive aisle widths, etc.
