This proposal seems to transfer to private ownership, areas such as the trails and the point, which historically, have been used by many area cottage owners. Our understanding is that rules relating to "prescriptive easements" apply to these areas.
This proposal should not be approved unless it includes provisions that allow continued public access to the point and trails.
