No front license plate required on battery only EVs as incentive. Many car owners hate the look of front license plates as it destroys the clean design intended by the designers. Eliminating front license plate also allows aerodynamic efficiency especially for electric vehicles resulting in longer range. I propose this as an incentive because of aesthetics [form] and aerodynamic effeciency [function]. This incentive does not cost any money for the government. But it should only be available for battery only EVs, and not for hybrids with a gas motor. Not even plug in hybrids. I hope you can see value in this proposal as it makes a lot of sense to me.
HOV or HOT lanes only for fully battery EVs as incentive. The state of California is already changing their rules to reflect this.
Battery only EVs have a premium starting price. People who can afford to purchase BEVs such as Tesla Model S and Model X should be encouraged and not penalized. I propose increasing the $3000 cap or relaxing the cap.
The proposed free charging of EVs in Ontario is a very good incentive and should be offered only for battery only EVs. Not plug in hybrids.
Charging infrastructures should be planned to allow for the fastest charging speed possible such as 240KW as this is where charging technology is moving towards. Do it once.
Thank you very much for your time.
