Business need oversight when it comes to pollution / toxic chemicals and dangerous materials. Having a federal program does not alleviate the responsibility of the provincial government to work in partnership with the federal in terms of inspection, reporting and control. Removing a layer of oversight simply makes room for business to find ways around the federal legislation endangering our workers and our environment.
