I strongly support this amendment. The promised four laning of Highway 69 is long overdue. The protracted delay in upgrading the highway is limiting economic growth in the north. The current condition of the road is leading to all-to-frequent accidents, and injuries and even fatalities to travelers from both the north and the south. And, these accidents are resulting in inconvenient road closures that can extend for hours, and for which there may be no convenient alternate routes - or, indeed, no alternate routes at all.
The upgrade to the highway should have been done years ago; the changes to the regulations to make the necessary very minor adjustments to the park boundaries should be approved with haste.
