How are we going to meet the 2022 United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity target of preserving 30 percent of land by 2030 if you are proposing to take land out of protection? Provincial park land should not be used for landfills, as is being suggested as part of this amendment. If land is being taken away for highway improvements, then there should be additional land added to the same park.
Instead of taking land away from our provincial parks, please provide more funding so they can increase their ability to manage them.
