I've spent time travelling along highway 69 when working with Henvey Inlet First Nation. During those three years, I was able to visit French River Provincial Park by taking walks and enjoying nature. It's important to me that this park land is protected because of the dangerous precedent this sets for future development to take place on protected forests. Throughout my life I've had meaningful experiences in Ontario Provincial Parks. Being immersed in nature creates positive connections with the land and brings so many benefits. We need to keep these spaces protected so that generations to come can enjoy them.
