Local firefighters may not have specialized training equipment and knowledge to safely combat a lithium ion battery fire, which will result in an environmental disaster. A BESS fire can require thousands of water per minute for hours or even days.
NOTHING has been done to prevent the contaminated water from entering the tile drainage system already in the ground, which will then flow to the ditch and Scotch river then the South Nation river
