We the people of Searchmont, Goulais River and other surrounding areas, are not against the successes of the Searchmont Ski Resort, however we believe it to be disgusting, gross and unnecessary that the Ski hill should be allowed to dump their waste water, in ANY condition into the river.

Any other resident and business in the local area must have their septic pumped when it is full and disposed of through the proper means. It is unfair and unnecessary for the Ski Hill to have special treatment in this instance.

And to contaminate one of our main fresh water sources for economical greed is the lowest of the lows for businesses and people alike. It is almost comparable to the behaviours we see in third world countries.

For a prospering business like the Searchmont Ski Resort, having their septic pumped frequently is simply a cost of doing business, and we the public should not bear the cost, Nor should we bear the repercussions of their growth and expansion.

We the people vote against the proposal of waste treatment in the Goulais River in any and all forms and will until the end of time.
