I am worried the proper sampling will not be done during and after this project is finished. there is no plans to sample and analyze the rivers conditions at multiple locations. The only area that seems to be talked about is the point source of the pollution which is a low flow area. A proper OSAP survey was never conducted to see the entire ecology of the river or those document were never disclosed. I went to the consultation and my comment wasn't included in their report applying for an ERO. My main concern is the river and how that will be monitored, there is no clear plan in place to ensure the health of the river. this should be taken seriously because it is the first point source of effluent into the river. the searchmont residents are concerned the proper treatment will not be taken seriously and if the river isn't being monitored those concerns will go unnoticed. this is the first treatment facility in the area and it will be well into the capacity limits for effluent to enter the river without even considering their expansions leaving the locals no chance to make a municipal plant themselves in the future if the community wanted to go this route. with all the concerns and the impacts on the Goulais river the proposed system isnt well suited for the needs the resort and the community
