Never mind that this is breaking a promise that Mr. Ford made to the people of this province.
Never mind that this is incredibly dangerous and destructive legislation that will steal our natural treasures from our children forever in return for continued unsustainable sprawl, traffic, and pollution.
Lets focus on something the government listens too...voters.
The greenbelt was one of the most popular policies the liberals implemented. This will cost you votes--lots of votes. Especially in conservatives strongholds, the 905 suburbs, when people see the natural areas being paved, when they sit in even more traffic, they're going to notice that this is the fault of the government, and they're going to vote accordingly.
Take a stand against this, I know the Premier made a promise to developers, but the rest of the government is not beholden to that.
