I have lived in different cities all around the world, and have learned that the most liveable cities are those who prioritize public transportation and bike lanes. My personal feeling was confirmed by an international study in search of the most liveable city in the world. This year Copenhagen was ranked number one for many reasons not least of them because of their robust infrastructure that prioritizes cyclists and pedestrians, also because of their advanced public transport system. The focus is on reliable, safe, inexpensive transportation for all. I would very much appreciate if the Ontario Government invested time in understanding the needs of the people by looking at examples of cities around the world that have already done so.
