I strongly oppose Bill 60. This legislation would strip municipalities and communities of their ability to make local decisions about how our streets are used. By preventing the reduction of motor vehicle lanes, the bill would block new bike lanes, bus lanes, patios, and other street improvements that make our cities safer, healthier, and more sustainable. Ontario should be empowering communities to design streets that work for everyone, not prioritizing cars at the expense of people.
