The wording on this is too…

The wording on this is too broad and risks removing bus lanes, patios and traffic calming measures along with the bike lanes themselves. I live near Bathurst/Bloor in Toronto and while I don't bike often, I can appreciate how many people use those lanes instead of driving. When I compare Dupont to Bloor, the fact that cars move slower and there are fewer of them mean that I feel safer and more comfortable when I go to cafes and other stores on Bloor. It would love other people to feel safe using the alternatives to driving in the municipalities that want to install them.
