It is concerning that my voters rights are being eroded by the provincial government. Please stay out of municipal government jurisdiction and respect my rights as an informed voter.
Bike lanes help me get around town regularly cycle from the west end to downtown Toronto two to three times a week. A one way trip takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Subway and bus combined is regularly inconsistent. The same trip on the TTC takes anywhere between one hour and twenty minutes to two hours. Others in our household also cycle the same route to their employment downtown. The Provincial Government is not honest or transparent with the data they use saying bike lanes cause traffic congestion. Please also publish the usage statistics of the bike share program in the conversation over bike lanes.
The provincial government should fund the TTC if they insist on trampling municipal voters rights by vering municipal jurisdictions and make TRANSIT RAPID and convient.
