What a backwards piece of legislation. Study after study shows that bikes lanes do not cause congestion, and often even help by getting people out of cars and onto more space efficient modes of transportation. Regardless of outcome, this is provincial government overreach. Municipalities should be in charge of how their local roads are used, the provincial government should stick to highways.
