This legislation is backwards. I am a car driver and a cyclist in Toronto. I want to feel safe on my bike and I don't want to be stuck in traffic. The safer and more pedestrian/cyclist friendly we can make the city, the better it will go when I have to drive my car. Leave the decision making in the city... quit trying to take over. Follow the evidence and the advancements in busy cities around the world that show us we can decrease gridlock through adding cycling infrastructure. Toronto's not getting smaller... we need safe non- car options.
