Municipalities should have the choice and ability to reduce car traffic lanes for uses that move people more efficiently than cars. Having a city that has too much traffic is like having a flooded basement, you don't fix the flooded basement by adding more water.
Transit lanes, road diets, and bike lanes help make cities safer and more affordable. While also helpng traffic flow better since people have the freedom to choose how they travel through a city or town. Forcing everyone to drive helps no one.
