Municipalities deserve to be able to plan and design their roads as they and their residents seem fit. Removing that right removes local control unesesarily.
Protected bicycle lanes reduce the number of drivers and cars on the road, and provide a way for families to safely traverse a city. Kids deserve to be independent, and deserve city infrastructure that makes that possible and safe.
