While I would be supportive of almost anything that would bring tourism and economic development to our area, as a Goulais River resident down stream of the resort, I CANNOT support anything being pumped into the river, treated or not. All too many times we have seen the checks and balances fail and I am not willing to risk the potential damage of that reaching Lake Superior, or the Goulais. Until surveillance and enforcement improve enough to ensure Searchmont will never contaminate these clean waterways, I will not support it.
