I don’t agree with the proposal to prohibit vehicle lane reduction for bicycle paths. I drive a car but bicycles are a much more environmentally friendly way to travel. And cyclists are vulnerable if they are forced to share the same lanes as vehicle drivers. Experienced cyclists may take the risk but children and less experienced cyclists should have safe, dedicated bike lanes even if vehicle lanes must be reduced to accommodate them.
