Yes, fire a whole bunch of them. Way too many staff in their offices, especially Maitland Valley Conversation Authority. They charge people in the Provincial Offences Court, drag the matter out for years, and get what for it? No fine, no reforestation, just a heavy bill to the Ontario taxpayers to pay the lawyers who are also milking the system.
Go back to the way the CA were years ago, look after parks, waterways, etc. Leave the landowners alone.
