It’s got to the point now that we can assume the effect of this government’s legislation is the direct opposite of the title they give to it.
This will not “fight”delays. Instead, it will increase them.
It is an attempt to deflect from the government’s unwillingness to solve traffic congestion, by appearing to do something. It will make the problem worse by delaying the implementation of steps which will actually help, such as more bike lanes.
This legislation will make everyone less safe - drivers, cyclists and pedestrians. People will die because of it.
