I am a biologist, naturalist, and author living in Belleville, Ontario. I strongly support any measures to expand protected natural areas in Ontario. All living creatures deserve a safe place to live. In an era of biodiversity loss and a looming sixth mass extinction event, we must act decisively to protect natural areas in Canada and elsewhere.
