The bill should remove schedule 10 which allows municipalities to make changes to the following:
Greenbelt act,
Clean water act
Lake Simcoe protection act
Oak ridges moraine conservation act
Great lakes protection act
These are in place to keep Ontario clean safe and beautiful. The ford government is trying to take these safeguards away and help corporations profit at the public's expense. This is against Ontario's future health. Efforts should be on protection and green energy and conservation. This is the only way forward. Anything else is a backward move.
