On the surface, this proposal seems prudent, in that it states that it will free up resources. However, the plan to consolidate the province’s 36 local conservation agencies down to just 7 is alarming. I do not believe this provides the necessary framework to ensure we (it is everyone's responsibility) are looking after the environment. I do not support this proposal.
