Bill 60 has far too many parts to it to allow politicians or citizens to have enough meaningful input.
Bike lanes are a very welcome part of any city in Ontario. Bike lanes make roads safer for cyclists, drivers and pedestrians. Bike lanes make cities and business areas vibrant.
Ontario should have a zero death vision for our streets. Why should we accept any death by car in Ontario? Fewer bike lanes puts children, vulnerable people, and all pedestrians in danger. It puts cyclists in danger and it puts drivers in danger. Let’s make Ontario safe!
Daily , I commute to work, do my shopping and move through my city on my bike in our amazing bike lanes. I have been cycling in Ontario for over 30 years and the current bike lanes have made my travels safer.
Keep existing bike lanes! Keep building bike lanes!
