I am a registered psychotherapist living near High Park I bike regularly for exercise and to work. I work around Christie station, and it is an easy ride, because of bike lanes from my home near High Park. It's quick, easy, gets me exercise, and allow me to not add to the congestion of cars or packed into the subway during rush hour.
I am greatly against Bill 60, which proposes to ban the bike lanes planned like Parkside Drive, Dupont Street, and the Danforth Avenue extension won't be possible if Bill 60 becomes law. I live near Parkside Drive and that street has had multiple speed camera cut down and car accidents that led to people being dead. Doug needs to back off with trying to control road safety for the worst, I thought you wanted to ban speed camera to add to road safety! Then keep the bike lanes. Stop messing with the safety of healthcare workers like me, build the bike lanes, throw out Bill60!
