Hello,
I am a 60 year Torontonian and use my bike for much of my commuting. Bike lanes make a huge difference for cyclists. They create a safer, more predictable space on the road, giving us riders confidence to get where we’re going without constantly navigating around traffic. With dedicated lanes, more people feel comfortable choosing bikes—reducing congestion, lowering emissions, and encouraging healthier, more active communities. They don’t just help cyclists; they make the whole city move better. We are part of the community and need safe spaces in which to travel.
