A Bill like 60 is dangerous and counter productive. Short sighted, short term perceived gains harm our future. Building sustainably, sensibly and resiliently does not happen in a hurry. Rushed projects typically benefit a very small demographic, ones that are already wealthy. By circumventing policies and practices that help to ensure fairness and make reasonable projections for the long term impact, fast tracking may look good initially but quickly creates more problems than it solves . Our environment needs protecting more than ever, our true powerhouse as a province and as a nation is wise stewardship of our natural spaces and very, very careful management of our natural resources, their extraction and their exploitation.
