I am generally in favour of efforts to increase Protected Areas in Ontario and Canada, so I support this proposal. I believe the Ontario government should be continuing to add new Protected Areas and increase the acreage of existing Protected Areas in a more significant manner. The Province should be looking to establish Protected Areas on the Oro-Moraine and take other measures to prevent expansion of aggregate mining and large scale development.
