I would embrace the changes of the conservation authorities if it will help make things easier to get a permit. Quinte Conservation was a nightmare when we were trying to build our house. They create erosion control zone which you need to build behind but can't tell you where it is. Such a joke. Talk to four different people and get four different answers. Took 3 years to get a building permit... it shouldn't be that difficult. It honestly can't be worse with amalgamation.
